| LOWER MISSISSIPPI | 0 | 979 | The river gauge between Cairo and Rosedale continues to fall. Shallow drafts may impact transit times.
Due to the continuing high river, the Corps has decided to set the Inner Harbor
Navigational Canal Lock 60-Day closure to begin on Monday, August 11, at 0700
hours. The lock will be closed to all marine traffic for an estimated 60 days to complete

Lock 53 is operating - delays are averaging approximately 3 hours.
EXPECT MINOR DELAYS DUE TO THE FOLLOWING LOCK CLOSURES:
Dashields Lock (main chamber) at OR13.3 will be closed for repair November 10-15,
2008. The auxiliary chamber will be closed for repairs November 15-21, 2008. Expect

1. Open to all traffic from the West Port Arthur Bridge to the east.
2. Open to all traffic from and including the Houston Ship Channel to the west.
