Vessel Chartering:

Vessel Chartering is a specialized operation. We offer this service to bulk cargo exporters. Typically the products are categorized into Dry Cargo and Liquid Cargo. The freight rates are provided based on either Time Charter or Voyage Charter. Freight rates can be different based on the route, quantity, product type, packing and other relevant details such as demand, supply situation for each class of vessels. We offer international and domestic chartering services, from any port worldwide, full vessel or part lot, any type of vessel /cargo for import or export. Our dedicated team of experienced brokers and operations managers utilize the latest technology, the highest ethical standards and the experience of a senior management nucleus that has been together for many years. We aim to service both Vessel Charterers and Vessel Owners with the same professional, confidential, expeditious service.

Stevedoring:

Service worldwide utilizing the stevedore best suited to handle a particular cargo, either import or export, with the most competitive rates and services. In addition, transloading services, including product storage, provided at any port on the U.S. inland waterway system. At Celtic, quality is defined as meeting or exceeding customer needs and requirements. We are committed to continuously improve our services in order to better meet the needs and requirements of our customers and to improve the management of the company. Building upon our years of experience, Celtic Marine is able to continuously improve our stevedoring systems to achieve high productivity, shorter vessel turn time and damage free handling. Celtic’s personnel are experts at managing and handling every form of cargo.

Supervision:

A trained and certified staff of professional surveyors provides supervision of vessel loading / discharge and cargo transfer. Customers are kept informed on a "real time" basis through cellular communications, e-mail and digital photography during the operation. Detailed reports are submitted upon completion. Product sampling can also be provided according to ASTM or international standards, with samples sent to any laboratory designated by the customer. Celtic Marine also arranges vessel or barge draft surveys at all U.S. Gulf and inland waterway ports.

Barge Bookings:

Celtic Marine arranges barge service to and from the U.S. Gulf and throughout the inland waterway system. Flexible barge service options are customized to meet client needs and are available through yearly contracts, spot movements and part lot shipments. Our Operations Department stays in constant communication with vessel agents and stevedores / terminals to determine logistics such as when best to place barges to meet loading / discharge schedules while minimizing usage of barge free time. Expedited departures and deliveries and barge position updates sent three times weekly via fax or e-mail are standard service offerings.

Inland Transportation (Truck / Rail):

We are a licensed, bonded broker offering competitive trucking and rail services for bulk, break-bulk, packaged and containerized cargo throughout the continental United States, Canada and Mexico.

Celtic has made custom arrangements with thousands of truckload and less-than-truckload carriers. Our extensive carrier-base and constant monitoring of truck supply and demand
and enables us to match your shipments up according to your price and service requirements.

Our network and volume buying power affords us low-cost access to the nation's vast rail system. Working with our rail partners, we provide door-to-door or ramp to ramp rail van service to and from all major cities in Canada, Mexico and the USA.

Special Project Cargoes:

Celtic Marine arranges the movement of "non-traditional" cargoes, such as oversized equipment, project cargoes, container-on-barges, and the like on a worldwide basis. This service can include ocean carriage, cargo transfer, and inland movements by either water or ground transportation.
